West Sixth Street
Situated between West Street and Lavaca, West 6th Street is a great alternative to the more famous area known as 6th Street. This entertainment district is home to more upscale and refined dining, shopping and entertainment.
For a more sophisticated setting try J Black's Feel Good Lounge for appetizers and cocktails. 
Dancing and live music at Molotov's - and while you are there, check out the view of the Downtown skyline from the upper level lounge. Stop by the Key Bar for that hip, relaxed professional vibe.
Frank and Angie's Pizzeria, packs in the diners daily for New York style pizza. Bess Bistro on Pecan provides an authentic bistro dining experience. Menu items range Creole inspired shrimp, to Shepherd's pie, and a variety of natural, organic healthy dishes from which to choose.
Local art is showcased in several noteworthy galleries including The Lotus Gallery - featuring Asian sculpture and art. Photographers show their work at the Stephen L. Clark Gallery, and contemporary artists just emerging can be seen at the The Wally Workman Gallery.
