    Welcome to Kyle Texas!  Located just 20 miles southwest of Austin, and just 8 miles north of San Marcos, in beautiful Hays County.  This charming 1880s cotton town is right next door to Buda Texas.  Sometimes call "the Backbone of America", this fast growing community has I-35 and MOPAC railway line running through the heart of the town.

    Dating back to the 1880s and incorporated for the first time in 1885 and again in 1906, Kyle was formed as a railway stop for the International-Northern Railroad.  Railway tycoon Jay Gould, made a land deal with property owners David Moore and Fergus Kyle when 200 acres of their former land was acutioned off under the Kyle Auction Oak.

    Now with more than 14,500 residents, 21 residential communities, and 10,000 platted lots on the way, Kyle is the second fastest growing community in Hays County.  Approximately 81 percent of Kyle's residences are owner occupied and houses tend to be new construction.  Kyle schools are part of Hayes Consolidated I.S.D.

    Kyle is also home to lovely parks, shopping and dining.
